Transforming our future calls upon us, as individuals and as a community, to be courageous and embrace the notion that large-scale and lasting transformation grows from small changes.

curriculum
We revel in cross-disciplinary, complex thinking. and a robust curriculum in academics, the arts, and athletics. Programs and projects such as the Da Vinci Lab and expanding world language at the elementary campus and increasing students support services for college counseling and wellness at the secondary campus will enhance and extend our curriculum even further, making it more interdisciplinary, equitable, and aligned throughout the K-12 experience.

We are grateful to you, our community, who so generously offered your dedication and support for our school last year. Thanks to your volunteerism and contributions, we were able to better serve our beloved Oakwood community.

Alex Susman, Board of Trustees Chair

Action
We take action on the issues that matter at Oakwood and larger world. Priortizing sustainability and a re-focus on our Immersion program, we are providing students with the skills and opportunities to put their learning into action as problem-solvers, creators and leaders.

I remain ever-grateful for the countless ways the Oakwood community comes together to lend a hand, lift each other up and contribute talents and resources all in support of our incredible students.

Nancy Leptuch Virrey, Director of Advancement

Belonging
Community and relationships are the roots of Oakwood School. Affinity and alliance spaces and increasing diversity of the student body, faculty, and staff ensure that all members of the community belong and have the full support to contribute their whole selves to the Oakwood experience.
